You're Not Woke, You're Broke™ #YNWYB
We live in a woke era where people are questioning systems, challenging beliefs, and seeking awareness. But when it comes to money, we have to wake up to a reality: no one is coming to save us, and there is no overnight fix to building financial freedom.
JaeVic created "You're Not Woke, You're Broke™" after graduating and watching so many of her peers follow the path they were told would lead to success: get the degree, work hard, build a career, and chase the American Dream.
Yet for many, financial stability feels further away than ever.
Lasting financial wellness starts with the foundation of understanding yourself: your money habits, your beliefs, your patterns, and your capabilities. Building wealth requires awareness, intentional choices, and the willingness to challenge yourself through growth.
Money is a game. Learning the rules, understanding your strategy, and making intentional moves is how you create change. At F3, finessers know every money story has something to teach. Sharing our experiences, challenges, and breakthroughs helps us learn, grow, and build wealth together.

Meet JaeVic
Hey Finessers, I’m Jaelyn Vickery—better known as your podcast host, JaeVic. I’m a Certified Financial Therapist™, founder of Dimensional Wealth, and someone who is just as passionate about learning as I am about teaching.
I created Finance, Fitness & Finesse (F3) in June 2024 while completing my Master of Social Work degree. Despite earning academic and athletic scholarships as a Division I softball student-athlete at the University of Illinois, I graduated realizing that my education had prepared me for a career—but not for the financial realities of adulthood.
F3 was built on one belief: the only way we learn about money is by talking about it. With a background in psychology, social work, banking, eating disorder treatment, and consumer psychology, I explore how emotions influence impulsive spending and Disordered Consumption™. Through my FIVEREPS™ framework, you’ll learn to recognize these patterns and build healthier habits.
No one has money completely figured out, which is why Collaboration is Currency™. Each week, we’ll learn from experts, industry professionals, and everyday people with extraordinary money stories.
Finances scare and bore me to death at the same time. Jaelyn’s podcast has provided me with a resource that breaks down finances in a digestible way! I enjoy listening to her passion for keeping people informed and the interviews she conducts so her audience can get a wide variety of insights and experiences with money.

I enjoy Jae’s podcast both for personal use and professional use! There is such good information that I have learned that I had no previous knowledge of. And being a clinician I have many clients come in with questions about money, and this is one of the first resources I utilize.

Learned about financial wellness through the podcast. My BIGGEST takeaway was high yield savings accounts! I never even knew what that was, but I have made several hundred dollars utilizing this!

JaeVic’s podcast, her depth of insight, and most importantly, her meaningful contributions to the field of financial counseling and therapy are powerful catalysts for change. She brings a rare blend of clarity, compassion, and cultural relevance that has the potential to transform lives and foster lasting financial and emotional well-being.

I started off by just listening to her podcast to become more financially independent and confident in my ability “to adult.” It was later that I had the privilege to have a more intentional conversation with Jaelyn about my life goals and aspirations. She really helps put my life journey (career- and relationship- driven) into perspective and makes it seem possible that I can achieve a life worth living. Even after a few conversations, I learn techniques to approach achieving my goals and forming strong relationships with others.
